Created by visually impaired children from the Wan Dee Wee Craft group in Chiang Mai Province of northern Thailand. The wax coating makes the bag more durable and provides it with a stylish sheen.     This tote shoulder bag is another product from the prolific Na Muen Sri community in Trang Province, that is available at the Good Goods store in Central Phuket. The word ‘tote’ originates from the 17th century, meaning “to carry”. They first appeared in the 1940s, popularised by L.L. Bean’s sturdy Boat and Tote design for carrying ice. This example of a tote bag has been carefully selected for its striking fibre colour and transformed into a modern looking bag to continue the valuable contribution made by the Na Muen Sri community.
