It’s the Festive Season 2024/25 – Phuket Style
Welcome to the Pearl of the Andaman !
On behalf of everyone at exotiq I would like to extend a warm welcome to our paradise island and wish you and your family a wonderful stay over the festive holiday season; there is nowhere in the world better to be right now than here, in Phuket.

As it’s the time of the year to celebrate we decided to focus this edition of exotiq on Phuket’s most vibrant party place: Patong. Known for its lively beach, and rockin’ nightlife, Patong has a split personality, with high class hospitality venues and top restaurants going alongside its legendary bar scene. We checkout KUDO, the strips’ best beach club, look at some great restaurants and invite you to take a splash in one of the town’s top romantic pool villas.

Of course, Phuket isn’t only about its larger beach towns, such as Patong, Kata and Kamala. There is a quieter side to the island and you’ll find Phuket has many hidden gems, with nowhere better than Ao Yon Bay in the south east corner. ‘Gem’ is the operative word here, because, in addition to two pristine beaches, Ao Yon features a pearl farm, which has received royal approval.

High season in Phuket brings sunshine and calmer seas, the perfect time of year to snorkel or learn to scuba dive. This edition of exotiq is dedicated to Phuket’s amazing undersea delights! We introduce you to the fish species you are most likely to encounter snorkelling around the island, and tell you what it’s like to take a diving course at Phuket’s leading dive operator.

And, even if you don’t go into the open water, you can experience the amazing underwater world that is Aquaria Phuket, at Central Phuket Floresta; mermaids included!

Our usual recommendations of the best dining spots on the island are on offer, including a visit to The Wagyu Steakhouse, who many regard as Asia’s top steak restaurant, and the oldest and most respected steakhouse of them all, the legendary Sam’s Steaks & Grill in Patong.

The festive season in Thailand kick’s off early with Loy Krathong in November. If you are lucky enough to be here in the 11th month of the year, you can experience something really spiritual, something really Thai… the floating of candles to dispel away your negativity and to bring some good luck into your life.

It really is the most wonderful time of the year, and we are so happy that you have decided to be here to celebrate with us.
