In the expert hands of visiting celebrity Egyptian chef Hassan Omran, guests savour traditional dishes like koshari, falafel, and grilled kebabs. You’ll embark on a taste adventure, to enjoy the full gambit of exotic spices, from cumin, coriander, turmeric, and mint to exotic blends like Ras el Hanout and Za’atar. Every outlet in the resort features in the festival. Starting with breakfast in Cosmo, where you can enjoy Shakshuka, a delightful combination of poached eggs in a spicy tomato sauce, right through to dinner, at the resorts’ seafront Rock Salt restaurant, where you can try Fattoush, a tangy salad which has become one of the Middle East’s greatest contributions to world culture. Crispy lettuce, crunchy fried squares of pita, diced tomatoes, cucumbers and onion, garlic, lemon, olive oil and mint make for a refreshing addiction.
