The Bodega & Grill restaurant prepares a seafood dish that marries local produce with tasty international favourites to create a truly ostentatious and undeniably scrumptious seafood platter. Highlighting Boston lobster, king prawns, white snapper and scallops, which are all soused in a mouth-watering marinade consisting of garlic, cilantro, white wine and olive oil. Left overnight, which allows for the ingredients to properly absorb the juices from the mixture, then grilled to absolute perfection. Served with a duo of homemade sauces which is a real tease to the palate.
Wine companion: Chablis is often the way to go with lobster, but the list at Angsana has a great range of suitable New World wines. I’ve opted for the Stonefish Chardonnay from Margaret River. Displays a beautiful palate of citrus and peach with hints of spice and a soft, refreshing finish.
