If You Are One Of Those People Who Cannot Kick-Start The Day Without A Cup Of Great Coffee, Then Pay Attention To Our Small List Of The Best Purveyors Of The Black Stuff In Phuket

    % ARABICA

1st floor – Central Phuket Floresta

% Arabica, the Kyoto based Japanese specialty coffee brand, marks its inaugural presence in Phuket with a groundbreaking modular kiosk concept at Central Phuket Floresta. Crafted in collaboration with the award-winning Austria-based design firm Precht Studio, this avant-garde installation redefines the traditional coffee shop experience. Inspired by a coffee cup, the kiosk is round in shape and its doors are designed to rotate around the centre of the unit, and when the doors are closed a minimalist interpretation of the brand’s logo (%) is apparent.

HOCKHOELEE – THE ORIGINAL COFFEE ROASTER

    Wiset Road – Rawai

This charming and well-loved business was started by Chinese immigrant Tan Cheng Long in 1958. As Thais started to grow coffee, and transportation was built bridging Phuket to other southern provinces, Hock Hoe Lee  was able to buy Thai coffee beans to use for its coffee. Today their Classic Full City Roast house blend has a smooth, complex and bold flavour, made from 100% authentic Thai coffee bean. There is another branch of the café in Phuket Town, and they both offer one of the best breakfasts on the island.
