This gem of a place is quite hard to find as it’s hidden up in the tropical rainforest canopy on the hills behind Patong. Consequently it has commanding views of the whole town, and out over the bay to the Andaman Sea. An affordable option, this is a self-catering villa, with a kitchenette and dining area. Breakfast can be ordered and delivered to your room. The design is very natural and rustic, with the king size bed contained within a full hanging mosquito net. It is fully air-conditioned of course. The plunge pool extends the length of the unit and feels as if it’s hanging in the air. The bath tub is also outdoors on the terrace. ‘See no evil, speak no evil and hear no evil’… all three monkeys are found here!
ROYAL VILLA at the Impiana Resort, Patong
If you are looking to stay directly on the beach for your romantic night out in Patong, there is really only one option on the town’s main beach, it’s the Royal Villa at the Impiana Resort. The villa has two additional connecting rooms so it can be booked as a three bedroom facility, however, the ‘royal’ part of villa consists of one-bedroom and can be reserved as such.
