Central Phuket display a Kebaya Christmas Tree
This festive period in Phuket, and particularly over Christmas, you’ll see something new at Central Phuket. For the first time a Kebaya Christmas Tree will be on show. This unique tree is inspired by the art of the Peranakan people, who have Chinese-Malay heritage, and is adorned by auspicious symbols and ornaments, such as phoenixes, which symbolises immortality and eternal youth. The tree’s main colour is turquoise, a precious hue historically associated with royalty. And, over New Year, do not miss the spectacular Central Phuket Countdown, featuring an exciting lineup of music, light shows, and a breathtaking fireworks display to welcome in 2025.
