FRIDAY NIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, FROM 6PM
If you are staying anywhere near Phuket’s central west beaches make sure you start the weekend at the regular Boat Avenue Friday Market. This event happens without fail on the eve of every weekend in Cherngtalay and consists of over 50 food stalls, serving every kind of Thai and International street food you can imagine. Phad thai, som tam, phad krapao moo, you name it and you’ll find it. There are also an abundance of local craft stalls offering some great souvenir items to take home. It’s a great people-watching event, get there early and bag one of the outdoor tables at a bistro bar and watch the world go by.
