Good Goods is an innovative Thai enterprise, grown from the most famous of all Thai businesses…rice growing.
Originating from the Nong Pai district, in the northern province of Phetchabun, the discarded rice stems are dried and woven to create reed mats for the local community. This enterprise aims to support and partner with the local communities to support them and the environment. Firstly they provide much-needed revenue for local farmers, but the unsold mats are then curated into colourful fashion accessories, such as shoulder bags and heart-shaped grip purses. A fine example in our sustainability-driven world, which you can support by visiting the store on the ground floor of Central Phuket Floresta
